What providers to look out for (the good and the bad)

Last updated: July 7th, 2026

This document contains a list of reputable and non-reputable / harmful providers to help people make more informed choices.

What do we classify as harmful? We classify providers that lie to their users, commit any sort of crime / exploit to obtain model access as harmful / non-reputable. If we can prove that a provider that was marked as harmful has since become reputable, we will change it's status on this page.

This list will only say a provider is non-reputable / harmful if solid evidence exists.

Terms: Throughout this, we'll utilize terms such as "CLI Scraping", CLI scraping is a often times abusive and ToS breaking method of obtaining usage. A Discord reseller often times sells CLI scraped usage for a discount. These can often put your own security at risk.

1. Crow AI

STATUS: Non-Reputable

CrowAI is a NewAPI service that derives usage from scraping Grok free account pools and scraping Firework API's free usage to obtain free usage (as per the owner's own admission). Please take the following part with a grain of salt as for it's not proven via hard evidence yet, however, Crow AI is also most likely going through Discord resellers to obtain usage, whom oftentimes utilize coding CLI scraping to abuse free tiers of services for free inference to sell at a discount.

2. Aether AI

STATUS: Non-Reputable

AetherAI is a Discord operated service in which provides cheap to free access to models. Publically, the owner has gone out and asked users to assist with scraping CLI and abusing free tiers. Alongside this, they publically utilize Discord CLI resellers to obtain free usage. Paying for this is essensially paying for a stolen thing that the seller got for free.
